How configure Virtual Switch inside vSphere for Charon VAX system

Login to vmWare vSphere web page.

Select one ESXi

1. Clink on “Configure”;
2. Expand “Networking” and select “virtial switches”;
3. Click on “ADD NETWORKING…”;

Select “Virtial Machine Port Group for a Standard Switch” and click NEXT;

click on “select an existing standard switch”, select a vswitch and click on NEXT;

Insert a Network label (for example XYBION VSWITCH), keep the VLAN ID with the default value (None (0)) and click on NEXT;

click on FINISH;

Now you can see the new network inside the vswitch that you have previusly selected.

Click on the three dots

and select “Edit Settings”;

click on “Security”;

Put the flag in:

• Promiscuous mode
• MAC address changes
• Forged transmits

and select “Accept” to all

Keep default settings in “Traffic shaping” and “Teaming and failover”

At the end repeat all above steps to the others ESXi.
