Open the file hosted in T:\Access – Repro Reporting with MS Access 365.
once open click on file and then on “Privacy Options”
In the window that will appear, click on “Current Database” and in the “Move” section put the falg on “display move pane” and in the “Ribbon and Toolbar Option” section put the flage to the items “Full Menus“, “Default Shortcut Menus” and “Embedded Toolbar“.
Also under “Menu Bar” replace “MyBarPrinter” with “(Default)“.
scroll down the window and as a last step we flag the “ODBC fields” item
Once these changes have been made click “OK.” A message will notify that to confirm the changes made we will need to close and reopen the file
Once the file is closed and reopened, click on the “PROL_ERBC_STUDIES” item from the left panel
Before proceeding to enter the new study number, let’s sort the first column from smallest to largest
now select the first blank line at the bottom
Now in the first colum (“STD_ID“) enter the progressive number (taking the value of the upper row as a reference), then enter the study number in the next column “STD_CODE” and also enter it in the last column on the right “STD_CODE_OLD“
When finished, to confirm the entry, click on the line below (the pencil on the left disappear).
Now before closing the file we need to reset all the settings set at the beginning with the initial values
Again once the changes are complete close and reopen the Access file to confirm the changes.
When closing the file we will be asked to save.
