Creation/Modification of LIMS User
Regarding the creation/change, we receive requests by e-mail. The e-mail contains the link to the C-FLOW module. By clicking on the link you will be redirected to the form with all the information for user configuration.
1. For activations/modification the steps are as follows:
- Open LIMS, PROD environment;
- Go to the Users table (Table manager or Manage Table);
- It may be useful to start with a user who has similar roles, so that you have some of the information already filled in;
- Click on “Save As” button, or click on the “New Record” button and in both cases it asks for the ID of the new user (USR02576). This information is in the form.
- At this point the data that we must always remember to change or insert are:
- Description: name o Full name: name
- LDPA User ID: change the id and put USR02576 o Email
- Check that it is Disabled = False
- Go to change/add/edit roles: Configure –> Roles
If values for Sample Type are indicated in the form, these are to be entered in the user profile in the field C_TEST_LOC_FILTER.
If values for Item Group Type for Disposition are indicated, open the indicated group type and enter the user in the list of the users (table C_ITEM_GROUP).
If values for CRO are indicated, select the CRO in the user’s field “C_CRO” (LIMS_USER Table).
If values for Inventory Types are selected, fill in the field “C_INV_TYPE_FILTER” in the user profile.
If value Investigation Types for Write-Access are indicated in the form, these are to be entered in the user profile in the field C_INVEST_FILTER
About Cleaning roles (CL_XX) it’s needed to configure User Departments: Open Department record and add user inside the list.
About DOI_EM_OPERATOR role, requestor provide the list of Sampling Departments needs to be activated by the user from Visual Workflow preferences. For this case it’s needed to write an email to the user in order to explain how he/she can modify preferences (if he/she is not able to do it we can help him/her to do the configuration). Process Units to select are available into the EM-Process Unit excel file.
About ACTIVATION requests, verify if the user already exists inside LIMS Address Book (File –> Address Book from the Lims Menu Bar) (PERSON Table). If not, add a new record on PERSON table filling following fields:
- FIRST_NAME
- LAST_NAME
- EMAIL_ADDR
User entry in citrix groups
When we have saved the user, we need to ask the helpdesk to put them into groups so that they can see the application on Citrix.
- For all users: LABW_LIMS_DOI (group that makes the user have permission on Network Shares to launch applications).
- DEVELOPMENT: n/a
- TESTING & VALIDATION: META_LIMS_TEST (unique for all countries)
Then depending on the environment we need to give access to:
- PRODUCTION IT: META_LIMS;
- PRODUCTION FR: META_LIMS_FR
- BR PRODUCTION: META_LIMS_BR
Richiedere aggiunta utenti anche alla distribution List LIMS_ALL_USERS
Per richiedere l’assegnazione dei gruppi aprire ticket EasyVista.
- Cerca il tuo nome e poi fai click su Nuovo ticket.
- Nell’oggetto inserire numero C-Flow e User ID. (es. CONS2494 User activation (C-Flow 804) – Add to LIMS Citrix groups)
- Selezionare il tema visibile nell’immagine sotto e impostare come Origine il valore Self Service
Nella descrizione inserire il testo seguente inserendo i valori corretti:

Si richiede di assegnare i seguenti gruppi all’utente xxxxx:
LABW_LIMS_DOI
META_LIMS_VAL
LABWARE_DEV
[gruppo yyyyy dedicato per country]
Si richiede inoltre di aggiungere l’utente xxxxx alla lista di distribuzione LIMS_ALL_USERS (già approvata dal referente Clara Piccolo).

Deactivation of LIMS users
2. For deactivation the steps are as follows:
- Open LIMS, PROD environment;
- Go to the Users table (Table manager or Manage Table);
- Open the user to be deactivated;
- Set the “User Disabled” flag to TRUE
- Delete the email address
After user activation/modification/disabling close the C-FLOW form by confirming the operation and signing.
Richiedere rimozione utenti dalla distribution List LIMS_ALL_USERS

Si richiede di rimuovere l’utente xxxxx dalla lista di distribuzione LIMS_ALL_USERS (già approvata dal referente Clara Piccolo).

If user profile is one having privileges to execute lot disposition (BR_QC_INST_REVIEW, BR_QC_LOT_RELEASE, DOI_REVIEWER, FR_QA_REVIEWER, FR_QC_REVIEWER, RD_HEAD_DEP, RD_SAMPLE_MGR_DIPTEC, RU_QC_LOT_RELEASE) remove user from Item Groups where is configured. Cancel user record from PERSONS Table (AddressBook).
Once press submit go to related Record and take a copy of the RITM code (useful because before close the CFLOW we neew to have a feedback from the RITM)
In the search field digit “activation” and click on “Activatic/deactivating Application….”

Ti comunico che abbiamo modificato il tuo utente per accedere con il nuovo ruolo DOI_EM_OPERATOR.

Ti comunico che abbiamo creato il tuo Utente sul sistema LIMS e puoi quindi accedere inserendo il tuo codice utente (USRXXXXX) e la tua password di rete.
Al primo accesso ti chiederei di fare una piccola azione per terminare la configurazione del sistema.
Ti descrivo di seguito i passaggi:
- Inserisci User e Password di rete e clicchi su Login
- Scegli come Ruolo utente DOI_EM_OPERATOR e clicchi su OK
- Nel Visual Workflow che ti si aprirà clicchi sul pulsante Set, in alto a sinistra, nelle Preferences.
- Clicchi sulle freccine grigie al fianco del campo VW_PROCESS_UNIT
- Nel campo VW_PROCESS_UNIT inserisci: [specificare EM process unit] –> vedi tabella di seguito
Questa procedura ti permetterà di filtrare gli EM PLAN visualizzati nella pagina iniziale e di visualizzare quindi solamente quelli del tuo reparto.
